Hmmm let me think. I am writing this a day late because I got all busy yesterday finishing some paintings and starting my new Facebook page called “Angela’s Art” please feel free to go ahead and LIKE it. Here’s my best effort at what I ate yesterday…
Breakfast: Egg whites with diced tomatoes and half of a whole wheat english muffin. Coffee
Snack: Even if I had one I wouldn’t remember.
Lunch: Leftover chicken taco salad and water
Dinner: Uhhhh, oh yes. Let me start out by saying I tried. My husband was out of town and I was major grumpy and tired so I decided to take the kids out to dinner. We went to McAlister’s because they had this cool choose two for 500 calories menu. I spent about 20 minutes online deciding just what to get and it was hard because not all the combinations were under 500 calories. Finally, I decided on a garden salad and half of a cheesy potato because it stayed under the 500 calorie rule. Well, I’ll be darned if McAlister’s didn’t give me a whole potato. So of course I ate it all. Then, I got the kids some kids some kids meals that came with a giant cookie. Being the good mom that I am I decided it wasn’t healthy for the kids to eat the whole cookie so what did I do….yep, I ate a chunk off each of one. Gosh!
I did do some Zumba today. I’m getting better but still trip over my feet more than I probably should. I’ve been thinking though….I don’t think Zumba is going to get it done. I want to amp it up a little. So here’s what I’m thinking. I, Angela Grear, am (seriously thinking about) signing up for Warrior Dash. Warrior Dash is a 3 mile run with obstacles mixed in every 1/2 mile or so. My husband is doing it and asked me to do it with him. Ha, I should say, do the Warrior Dash with him. There is a training schedule on the Warrior Dash site that I plan to follow. But, instead of doing their running thing I will do Couch to 5k. My neighbor Mary is my partner in crime and will be participating with me, training and all. I am nervous but I am going to be brave. No pain no gain…right. I am daring you to join me in doing the Warrior Dash. I am doing the one in Oklahoma on June 2nd. Please leave a comment and let me know if you sign up. If lots of people sign up because of me then I will definitely have to follow through with this.
