Grammy and Papa treated us to a over the top Disney vacation. Our first morning might have been the most exciting. We stayed at the beautiful Grand Floridian and had breakfast at 1900 Park Fare in the hotel. It was full of character…literally! As we ate, we were greeted by Mary Poppins, Winnie The Pooh, Tigger, Alice In Wonderland, and The Mad Hatter. It was the PERFECT way to start our vacation.
The weather was beautiful. The girls loved meeting the princesses.
Phil needed a hat so I surprised him with one complete with Mickey Ears. He paid me back later by putting fruit loops all over my face when I fell asleep on the plane.
Sleeping Princess Mazie is my favorite vacation picture. The sweet girl was so excited to transform into a princess, but she only lasted a few minutes.
Madeline got to go to Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique and be transformed into a princess by a Fairy Godmother in training. She got a pick out a princess gown, accessories and have her hair, nails, and make-up done. She loved everything but her hair. After posing for a few pictures, we had to go directly back to the hotel to wash and take it down. Then, it was back to the castle for dinner with the princesses.
We did so many fun things that there is no way to post all of the pictures. We rode rides, had dinner at Chef Mickey’s with our favorite Mickey Mouse Clubhouse friends, watched Beauty and the Beast and Sophia The First at Hollywood Studios. We pretended to be bugs in the Honey I Shrunk The Kids move set…and the list goes on. It was truly a magical adventure full of excitement.
We had a little time before we had to be at the airport on the last day so we enjoyed a little R&R by the splash park at the hotel.
We can’t wait to go back!
