This was quite a busy day as most Saturdays are. I went to Zumba, watched Lauren cheer, and had Christmas with my Dad and gang. Oh yea, I also went to Wendy’s and Hobby Lobby with my preggo friend Karma. Which reminds me… Karma tried to get me to have a frosty and fries with her and I DID NOT. Even though it sounded so delicious. I told Karma she was an enabler and to quit it. This was just before she bit into a fry and salivated all over me. We are still trying to decided if it was grease from the fry or her gleek that hit me in the face. Whatever, the point is, I didn’t give in. Plus, I knew I would probably cheat at dinner and I did.
Breakfast: Jimmy Dean D-Light sandwich and coffee
Snack: Pistachios and water
Lunch: Spicy chicken wrap, fruit, and un-sweet tea from Chick Fil A
Dinner: Pinto beans, cornbread, hash brown casserole, and un-sweet tea from Cracker Barrell. Now I understand that is not a super healthy meal. BUT…I could have gotten something MUCH worse. So leave me alone.
As I mentioned before I did Zumba today but, I’m not sure if I can count it as exercise. We had a new Zumba instructor. She wasn’t as high energy as the others but nice enough. I prepared a visual aide so I won’t go into a lot of detail. You know what they say…pictures are worth 1000 words.
Yea, so I will just leave it at that.
In other news, it’s almost time for my weekly feature and I was wondering what kinds of things you want me to write about. I have decided that I am going to put my daily progress stuff on my page but branch out a little for the weekly feature. So, I need you to send me some comments with ideas. Help me help you, ya dig? Also, if you “like” Parent’s Playground NWA’s Facebook page, you will be the first to know when the feature is posted to the site.
I think I need an ending tag line. You know like Ellen says “be kind to one another” and other people say other stuff. I need something like that. I’m drawing a blank here. Any suggestions are welcomed so for now I will just say BYE!
